The Land Use Code and Development Design Guidelines

AMC Title 20, the Land Use Code, is the set of regulations that controls how people can develop their property, be it a simple addition to a single-family residence, the development of a new subdivision, a new park, new commercial, multi-family or industrial development, or whatever someone wishes to do with their property. Topics addressed include the permit and public hearing process, allowed uses, density and dimensional regulations (lot size, height, setbacks, etc.), parking, utilities, streets, landscaping and buffering, mitigation, signs, parks and recreation, and SEPA.
